My wife and I just had our first child and the motorcycle got the short end of the deal... And diapers are expensive. So my new daughter means you can get a great deal on this bike, and all the extras that go with it. For sale is a 2003 Honda Valkyrie with only 17875 miles, low for this type of bike. I just bought new tires (Avon Cobra) before we knew she was pregnant, so they have seen few miles. The exhaust is an aftermarket Cobra Slashcut 2 inch drag pipes 6-into-6, which accentuates the unique sound of the Valkyrie with all the power and none of the vibration, same as the Goldwing engine, which makes this bike great! This bike also includes lots of aftermarket chrome, purple underbody LEDs, Garmin GPS V with RAM handlebar mount, halogen light bar, sissy bar, luggage rack, highway bars, saddle bags, and windscreen. Also for sale (not included with the bike) is all my motorcycle gear. Better yet, you can make it all the more potent with one of Cobra's precision-engineered exhaust systems. Wicked 6-into-6 drag pipes that make the bike sound like a Pro Stock dragster--but on a mellower note. Tires: With its unique snakeskin sidewalls, an aggressive tread pattern and low noise emission the Cobra silently defeats all roads that stand in its path. Advanced manufacturing techniques used in Avon's successful sporty Viper range have been adapted and applied to the Cobra series. WCTA - Wide Custom Tread Arc - is Avon's new tire profile that gives Cobra a nimble characteristic once reserved only for agile race-bred bikes, all without disrupting all-important stability. A-VBD - Advanced-Variable Density Belt - improves handling in the much wider Cobra sizes. This construction technology utilizes a jointless belt of ultra-strong material. Above the carcass, these strands are wound closely together at the tire’s centre for increased stability and wear resistance. Towards the tire's edges the fibers are then progressively spaced out to allow the tire to take on a multi-compound effect as the tire leans. An aggressive tread pattern features FFG - Force Following Grooves - to follow the exact direction of forces that are transferred through the tire. These channels in the tire’s surface significantly reduce irregular and advanced wear on bikes that carry heavy loads. Each Cobra rear tire also features the distinctive snake's head logo on the sidewall.
