Please feel free to email with any questions. Thanks, ChristopherOn Sep-26-12 at 00:23:53 PDT, seller added the following information:Thank you to everybody that has taken interest in this Notchback. I have been bombarded with e-mails from interested folks and apologize that I have been too busy to reply until today. I was out on a camp out in Northern Arizona with the Bus club for the annual Jerome get together. It came up last minute and I became pretty involved with the traveling and helping friends with their VWs. I have finally trailed back to Tucson and will be answering all of your questions and adding to the description to help everyone understand exactly what this car is. Just so everyone interested in this particular car knows, I do own a Vw & Porsche based restoration shop here in Tucson. I am happy to do any modifications, upgrades, and repairs that you may like to have done through my business. For example; checkered top, clear coating the whole car to seal in the patina, alarm system, built in garage door opener, a different style of wheels, a big reliable engine, lowering, raising, etc. I am not just selling this car but I am also able to modify and upgrade it for the lucky bidder, so keep that in mind. A 110 volt converter is an easy thing to install for me which could be the greatest most biggest thing for someone that needs to run a laptop, or other household accesory, in their car. If you look among the photo bucket index for vdublivin you will find a very small example of the cars that The Volkstop has restored, brought back to life, and uniquely modified. I have been at it for a couple decades now and the happenings have always been capable through partnerships with friends of amazing skill. A couple of things that I can point out that we "Can do!" and I would love to do for the car are the upgrades that we did on the Birch Green '62 Notchback. They include modifying a Pedro rack to be bolted to the rear lid without straps, truly custom wheels, t-3 popout hinge mod, daytime running lights, pedro rear jail bars (like you will find in deluxe Buses), euro side marker lights (that I modified to work as running lights and turn signals), fog lights, etc. I also do have a stock usable t-3 stock steel sunroof that I have been saving for something like this:) Thanks for looking and I look forward to a wonderful relationship with the new owner. This has become my favorite way to meet some great new friends! Peace, Christoph3r
