Vehicle Detail

The mileage is true and accurate. It has been very reliable and I have driven it every day for 2 years. But it has some issues I don't want to deal with. The Radiator exploded and the heater core is bad. There is a seal in the steering box that leaks. .If you are a good enough mechanic to replace a radiator, then you can replace the seal no problem. It has a new set of tires (4 mo. old ) and new brakes, spark plugs and battery. Does not use any oil and runs great. But...its old. Low miles and old. Sold as-is because it needs work, but it can be driven around the block or until the engine heats up. Radiator exploded exactly where it's sitting now. With a new radiator it can be driven anywhere in the United States. If you bring a radiator with you, it can be repaired where it sits. I have a very broken leg and cant do any mechanic work of any kind. So I'm selling it. Interior is OK. No burns, stains or rips. Headliner is starting to sag in spots but overall the interior is nice looking. All power acc. are working incl. A/C. PW,PDL,,cruise, auto. It has low miles but spent all it's time outdoors so the paint is thin on the roof and hood. no rust. It has an unrepaired collision on the passenger side front as you can see in the picture. The power steering leak is from the Pitman arm seal. It is a very slow drip and doesn't need to be fixed to transport the truck. I replaced this seal on a 91 Ford Aerostar van and it took me 1 hour. Requires a wrench and needle nose pliers. Easy fix . The heater core is bypassed at the moment and doesn't require repair to transport. That too is an easy fix because the housing cover is below the dash on the passenger side. You can get right to it without any obstructions. The radiator was weak and the plastic tank exploded without releasing pressure . It wasn't even running hot. It blew up when I turned off the engine. Parts cost is the following : heater core $23 (new) radiator $98 (new) pitman arm seal $ 8 . The truck is in Memphis TN . at my mothers house. I live 20 min. away. On Sep-26-12 at 16:29:38 PDT, seller added the following information: REVISED DESCRIPTION : Before you bid, understand that this isn't an amazing barn find. After looking closer at the truck I found a rust bubble in front of the driver side rear wheel. It's very hard to see so I missed it. So I can't ray it has NO rust but you see the picture and it can be overlooked easily so sorry about that. As for no rips, there are no rips in the upholstery or carpet or doors but the headliner is no good. Its sagging and has tears in spots. There are no stains but the carpet is dirty. I just can't clean on it so sorry bout that too. What you are bidding on is a truck that starts instantly, runs smooth and is dependable enough for everyday driving. This is the FIRST time in 2 years that I have not been able to just get in it and go. That's really the value here. I guess it has about 80 - 100 K miles left in it. Just want you to know its not a show car :)
