THE HISTORY The Mercedes SL500 has only 47,139 miles on it... that is only an average of 8k miles per year of driving which is about half of the normal 15k/yr most people do !!! The VIN is WDBSK75F05F089015. It was assembled in MB's Bremen plant in Germany and imported into the USA in June of 2004. It was sold Brand New by Autohaus Mercedes Benz in Pompano Beach Florida on July 30th of 2004 with just 35 miles on the odometer. The SL500 was kept normally serviced at Autohaus Mercedes and the CarFax report has entries with dates and mileages. The CarFax and AutoCheck reports show the vehicle as having three owners, but in reality it is actually a one owner vehicle. It was first purchased on a two year lease. When the lease ended in August of 2006 and with just 10,651 miles on the odometer, the original owner bought it out from Mercedes Benz Credit and kept it, placing the title in his company name. Later, in December of 2011 with just 40,540 miles on the odometer, this original owner changed the title to have the vehicle in his personal name. The agencies see the new title issued and simply assume it is a new owner, but in reality it is all the same person driving the vehicle since new. In late August of 2012 and with just 47,089 miles on the odometer, I was offered the oppurtunity to purchase this SL500, which I did, and I am proud to now offer this SL500 for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very good. The vehicle looks absolutly great for its age and mileage although some very minor surface scuffs/scratches are evident here and there. The paint is deep and glossy. The interior shows very little wear. The leather looks very clean and is free of any tears or fade. The carpeting is plush and clean. The dash and door panels are in great shape. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. The tires on this Mercedes are Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 P255/45R17's with a ton of tread life left. I have two master keys, the owners manuals with the original window sticker, the 6cd cartridge, the Southeast Nav disc, the first aid kit, the cargo nets, and the carpet floormats.
