I am listing this for a retired friend...It was also used as a gentleman's VSCCA "racar"... but in reality is pure road car This is a RARE and DESIRABLE and higher tuned version of the popular TD line...Of the 30,000 TDS produced, Only 1,700 were MKIIs. These cars had bumped up compression, 1 1/2 " SU carbs, Big valves, Twin SU fuel pumps, Dual shock front suspension uprated with the addition of androx friction shocks. the starter is a gear reduction type. This car has the addition of an optional heater and a modern 5 speed transmission that makes a 60mph cruise a 3000 rpm affair. Tires, exhaust, top etc are in good shape.
