Up for grabs today is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 "Clone". As you see in the pictures the car is a gun metal grey color but its original color is "GRABBER BLUE" V.I.N# OFO2F165776 This car is a ROLLING CHASSIS, It has NO Motor or Transmission. (Originaly a 302/C4 Automatic car) The car was a Arizona car, And has now been in the central Florida area for the last 8+ Years. It was daily driven for a couple of years when it was put in the garage to do a light restoration. At that time the car was completle disassembled and the radiator support was removed to be replaced with a brand new NPD Support. And the windsheild was also removed.The car sat disassembled for the last 6 years. The owner/family friend has lost interest in the restoration and just didn't have the time to complete this project. It has a clean title in the state of FL. With that said the car is 98% Rust Free. The area under the battery tray is rusted out but will come with a brand new NPD replacement panel. And there is a small rust spot about the size of a quarter on the right side of the trunk floor right next to the gas tank that a easy fix. There is also a small amount of surface rust on the underside of the trunk lid around the edges Because the car was in pieces and he wanted it out of his garage as soon as possible. The car was reassembled for ease of transportation only. Everything that could be put back on the car has been bolted on as stated above. Seats are also back in the car. Everything will need to be gone through as the fenders are bolted up with only a few bolts as well as the doors and the hood etc etc. The GOOD: Car has complete Front and Rear Ground Control suspention, Tubular Front A-Arms, Rear tubular traction bar's, Front and Rear Sway Bars. Ground control springs up front and drop block in rear. KYB Gas-a-just Shocks on all 4 corners. Ford 9 Inch Rearend with Nodular Iron Case 4.10 Gears and a Detroit Locker (Drum Brake) (Also have original Driveshaft) Has all the Exterior/Interior Trim Just as a real MACH 1 would have. And also includes the Rear Window louvers although there not installed on the car. Side marker holes have been glassed shut as well as the hood scoop and the front fender seam and rear 1/4 seam.Also has flip down style gas cap. The dash is Loaded with Autometer Gauges "Phantom Series" Speedometer 0-160 MPH (Odo Reads 38,401 Miles - Not actual Mileage), Tacometer 10,000RPM, Oil Pressure, Fuel Level, Water Temp & Volt Meter. Car is Rolling on American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels Polished Aluminum 16x8 Rear and 16x7 up front. The wheels look brand new and its been years since they have been cleaned. They currently have the running pony style center caps, but will inclued the original center caps that simply say American Racing. While the car was apart the wheels were used on his other mustang. At that time new tires were purchased for the wheels.So the Kumho tires on the car only have 1,500 Miles on them. Size 245-50-16 Rear & 225-55-16 Front. All parts listed below come with or are already bolted on the car and are BRAND NEW! -NPD Radiator Support -NPD Battery/Inner fender panel -NPD Deck lid w/Holes drilled for Mach 1 Spoiler -Hood Hinges -Interior window cranks -Motor Mount's -Transmission Mount (For C4) -Power Steering rebuild kit -Power Steering Pressure hose -Steering Coupler -In Dash Blower Motor -Gas tank filler neck hose -Trunk lock stem -Monte carlo bar -(Original USED Radiator) Included with the car are a few tupperware containers full of extra parts, hardware etc. So there might be some extra stuff i have not listed or that you will not need but it is included with the car as i have no use for it. In these containers you will find (6) Side view mirrors. (2) im not sure what they fit but (4) of them are 1970 Specific for this car.Original Master cylinder,Power steering assist,battery tray & hold down brackets, (2) 5" round Front pioneer speakers (Kick panel speakers), Wiper motor/ linkage, Hood latch and Brake lines/ proportioning valve. Antenna w/wiring, Front & Back Seat belts. B&M HAMMER/Ratchet Shifter w/console (Handle is broken up but its usable), Headlights, Headlight buckets/brackets & Running lights. Front Brakes are also the original drums but also included are a set of used Disk Brake spindles to convert the front for some better stoping power. Also comes with an extra 1970's BARE Ford 9" Housing w/ Axles. The windsheild is currently not installed on the car but is in great shape and will come with. Front seats are in great shape for there age and need nothing more then to be cleaned up to be used No rips, but the rear seats have a small rip on the bottom section. Original wood grain 3 spoke steering wheel and steering column are in great shape.Rear interior 1/4 Panels are in great shape aswell. The car is almost 100% Rust Free and the Body is straight but from the Fenders & Doors etc being in storage and not on the car being moved around there are some serious scratches through the grey paint down to the original Grabber Blue color.The paint will have to be completly striped and minor body work and paint will be needed. The BAD: The interior is missing the Headliner, Floor Carpet, Dash Clock for passenger side and Drivers side Door panel. Original hood pins are missing. The Dash, Gauge Cluster and dash pad on passenger side will need to be reupholstered. Radiator Support and new Battery Tray pannel will have to be welded in. On RR 1/4 somthing must have hit the fender lip taking the paint clean off. Under that paint is a very thin layer of body filler but nothing major. Some small holes in the engine bay were welded shut as he started to clean things up under the hood. So it might need to be smoothed out and cleaned up. I took as many pictures as possible and i have decribed everything to the best of my ability. Everything you see in the pictures comes with the car, it was a running & driving car before it was taken apart and besides the few parts listed above that are missing everything is there to put this back together and make it a beautiful car.
