The Good: Great condition. 177K Miles. Only fully synthetic oil run through motor. Automatic. 4 Cylinder so gets great gas mileage (27city/32Hwy) Power everything including heated seats and one touch convertible button that makes it easy for the old and the young to let the wind blow back your hair on a beautiful summer day. Air blows ice cold, and heat's up instantly because that's how they roll in Sweden. Extra set of tires/rims for the winter. New battery, brakes, spark plugs, head gasket, air filter, cabin filter, etc. Has usual scratches, dings, and stone chips of a 10 year old car. Second owner, non-smoker. Has sport button for that extra speed. As with all SAAB's, safety is #1, with front and side air bags. Make your sweet sixteen the envy of all her friends by driving off with a steal. The bad: Check engine light stays on(two years running) and code is 'camshaft/crankshaft sensor'. This is a very common code in all SAAB's before '03. It literally has no bearing whatsoever on the driveability of the car. I was told by two mechanics not to waste the money to repair because it's a turbo and the sensor doesn't effect the pick-up speed at all. Couple bulbs missing in the spoiler brake light so 'brake light failure light' comes on occasionally($6 fix). Passenger door lock needs could use a replacement even though it works fine, just not with the keypad.Great car for that SWEET 16. Super safe, and will run for another 176K with little issue. PS.
