well here it is my baby up for sale this car has a very early serial number 71 which means it was built on the first day of production this car is a late 63 early 64 it was built in september of 63 which i think makes it rare the original color of this car is silver blue,very desirable with dark blue interior when i first bought this car about 5 years ago i was told this car might be a 327 365hp solid lifter car because it has a factory gm aluminum intake high rpm 6500 redline tach and 80lb oil pressure guage but i cant prove that but when i look at the stampings on the id pad it has a RD code but if you look real close i would swear i see RE under the D which would be the 365hp since this car was built in september of 63 in 1963 there was no RE engine code so its possible that it was stamped wrong at the factory this might be the very first 365hp car for 1964 because of the EARLY SERIAL #71.the frame is perfect and original its never been touched or fixed.the body is in nice shape im gonna say it was painted sometime in the late 70s early 80s bcuz on the door there is a sticker from march of 82 from a service station that did a oil change when the car had 27484 miles(u can see in photo)the previous owner claimed the mileage to be original, the paint shines real nice but its not a show car it has some small chips and some minor stress cracks but this car always gets so many looks i think at some point there was some minor damage to the pass side front fender(no frame damage) the headlights both work one side goes up an down slower, before i bought the car it was sitting in a heated warehouse for almost 20 years so when i purchased it it needed minor things to be road worthy i put in a new gas tank,new master cylinder,complete tune up,wheel cylinders and tires and correct carberator for a 365hp car and i never looked back i been driving the car ever since this car is very fast and drives like a dream the motor is very tight burns no oil no smoke and the 4spd tranny shifts smoothly and clutch grabs nice i dont hesitate to drive the car anywhere, the interior is in real nice shape no rips the carpet is good i dont have the original radio but it has some aftermarket one in it now that works someone put a small hole next to the clock on the dash its very small half the size of a penny maybe they had some switch there the clock doesnt work but all the other guages do the soft top is in really nice shape with no holes i do have a hardtop that goes with car but the hardtop needs restoration.If you have any questions about the car pls call me @631-748-6341 i have nothing to hide im very honest ive been taking good care of her i would like her to go to a good home this car is a great fun an fast driver that has the matching motor and tranny which is getting harder to find and the early vin number is the bonus.I do have the car for sale locally so i have the right to end the auction at any time buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements a $500 non refunable deposit is due within 24 hrs of end of auction through paypal buyer must contact me within 24 hrs of the end of auction,cash or cashiers check or bank check will be accepted for the remaining balance the car doesnt move until funds are clear im gonna include some photos when i first puchased car and was filled with dust happy bidding...
