Act now on this deal as this is the last chance this car will be offered as a packaged auction with the long list of accessories due to eBay members asking to split the auction up as rolling chassis, parts, etc. Also, just a reminder that most all stock parts are included in this auction minus a couple broke hoses, etc.. As with any stock parts on a 1993 Rx7, some are not in prime condition and I wouldn't recommend using, ie (twin turbo's due to heat cracks and worn seals). I have saved most all original engine parts as well such as old rotor housings, apex seals, springs, side seals, etc. If your seriously considering this auction make sure to have the capability of picking up everything. A large bed truck will be needed in conjunction with a trailer to haul the load. Beautiful 1993 Mazda RX7 Touring for sale with 59,851 original miles. I'm the fifth owner of this car. I bought this car about 2 years ago, after which I found a turbo manifold exhaust leak that caused the car to fail state inspection. From that point on the car became a highly modified project with no expense sparred. I'm a Mechanical engineer, a ASE Master Automobile Technician, and have spent alot of time working and designing this car. But it is time for me to move on as I have accumulated other projects along the way that need my attention and money. But enough on priorities, let me tell you about this dream of mine: My thoughts were to have a 500-600 HP reliable, low mileage, mostly stock appearing, no frills, just thrills black leather interior RX7 to cruise and hit the car shows in the summer time. To this tune, I decided to take the problematic twin turbo system off and replace with a fast spooling B&W single turbo setup with HKS Super Suquential Blowoff Valve, Tial 44 mm wastegate, short intercooler piping, and a large intercooler smiling through a Mazda 99 spec front bumper with chin spoiler and HID fixed headlights. Next, rebuild the engine completely, with lightweight Ceramic 3mm apex seals, new rotor housings, heavy street port, balanced rotors, lapped and nitrated (hardened) side and end plates, high flow lower intake manifold gasket ported for even flow among both rotors, Spec lightweight multidisc clutch and flywheel, CJ Fuel rails, Fuel lines, 1600/850 CC injectors and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, Pettit racing underdrive pulleys, silicone hoses, etc. Then reduce weight, parasitic draw, and simplify systems by removing AC, Smog pump, power steering, oil injection, ABS and Cruise Control. Improved handling with Megan Racing control and trailing arms and Coil overs to set the stance. Fuel requirements met through (2) Bosch 044 pumps (same pumps used on expensive german cars) held in place by CJ Motorsports Billet Fuel Pump Mount that replaces the stock unit. Management of this powerhouse is via Apexi Power FC. To help with monitoring of fuel management is matching Defi fuel and boost pressure gauges, EGT aviation gauge specific for rotary engines, and Innovate wideband 02 sensor and software. So that leaves me where the progress of the car is now and whats left to do to complete the project: - Wire fuel pump relay to fuel pumps- Finish HID headlight wiring- Finish Turbo manifold fabrication- Finish downpipe fabrication- Mount turbo- Finish intercooler piping fabrication- Attach fender wells- Finish guage wiring- Mount battery- Purchase or fabricate Oil filler neck to clear upper manifold due to aftermarket lower manifold- Hook up fuel and oil lines- Replace bearings in rear lower control arms- Bleed Slave Cylinder- Tune engine management on dyno The car is being sold as is without the previous items completed. This is a great opportunity for a RX7 enthusiast to get into a very clean, low mileage 500-600 hp car with almost all the goodies you can order for 1/2 to 1/3 of the price and a little work. I know this auction isn't for everyone but if your riding the fence and need a second opinion, feel free to order a mechanic analysis. I spent hours and hours on the engine, making sure the tightest Mazda recommended clearances were achieved and everything was just right. I consulted many of the best rotary mechanics in North America throughout the build. The engine can be spun for compression check if a mechanic analysis is ordered, just make sure the mechanic has a rotary specific compression gauge.
