Vehicle Detail

After two years, 25,000 miles, of ownership it is time to part ways. This was a truck I always wanted to own and now have had an opportunity to do so. Reluctantly it has came time as I have been told the "family" needs two more doors. The truck has been a blast to drive and constantly turns heads. Every oil change comes with twenty questions about the truck; Who painted it? Manual? Replaced the chrome? etc. I love the attention and am always proud to discuss "Red". She is quite rare with the manual transmission being stock. From my understanding this was a special order since it was badged and trimmed as a Silverado with MT. There are several forums online describing how to convert these trucks to manual because of their rarity. I have been watching Ebay for a while and have only ran across two like it in over a year. It is possible I have missed or overlooked others, non the less it is not a common feature. Below I have listed most all things I have updated on the truck while not molesting its OE styling. It is currently debadged other than the wheels and Black grill bowtie. - Replaced 4wd actuator, OE style non-electronic. < 1 year - Replaced rear diff cover and magnet with polished cover, also changed fluid. < 3 mos. - Replaced Driver and Passenger cushions with good OE cushions. Much nicer feel especially on the drivers side. - Replaced overhead console with same style with all working compartments. - Replaced complete headliner, reupholstered visors and console base. (Professionally completed 1 year ago.) - Clutch replaced with Sach's Dual Friction style. Very nice grab and stayed with OE style pressure plate. (Professionally installed > 1 year ago) - Slave and Master clutch cylinder replaced. - Clutch fork replaced with GM Part. (Professionally installed) - Clutch fork Pivot ball removed and replaced with GM Part. (Professionally welded at transmission shop) - Throwout and Pilot Bearings Replaced (Professionally installed) - Power Steering pump replaced. (Professionally Completed >1 year ago) - Power Steering Hoses, high pressure and return. (Professionally Completed >1 year ago) - Steering Box. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Radiator Hoses, upper and lower. (Professionally Completed >1 year ago) - Alternater replaced. (OE Style Replacement >1 year) - Spark plugs and wires replaced. (OE Style replacement >1 year) - Rear Window struts. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Front Shocks. Replaced with Procomp adjustable shocks. Look and Ride excellent. <1 year ago. - Wheels were replaced with 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 Factory 17" Wheels, "Honey Comb" style. - Tires are Goodyear Wrangler 265/75/17. With less than 10k miles. Tread is in excellent shape, please refer to images. - Truck was repainted professionally with a single stage "Victory Red" paint. This is very red. All jams are matched and no paint lines can be found. There are a couple very small oversprays on plastic, but you have to look for them. Paint was completed 1 year ago. I completed all of the primer work and fill work covering all factory badging holes or factory clear coat issues. Truck looks very good from a distance and close up. No peeling or cracking issues. - Fuel Pump replaced. Replacement was a Bosch and filter matched. (Professional Replacement < 6 mos.) - Fuel Sending unit. (Professionally completed OE style < 6 mos.) - Stock two piece radio was replaced with Sony CD player. (> 1 year) - Stock speakers were replaced with Pioneer speakers. (> 1 year) - Steering Center Link replaced. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Steering Tie rods, inner and outer. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Front end alignment. (Completed < 6 mos.) - Steering Pitman Arm. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Steering Idler Arm. (OE style Replacement < 6 mos.) - Universal Joint for 4wd replaced (OE style replacement > 1 year ago) - Universal Joint for rear drive shaft replaced. (OE style Replacement > 1 year) - Front and rear windshield wipers replaced. (< 3 mos.) - Windshield wiper relay board replaced. (> 1 year) - Serpentine Drive Belt. (OE Style replacement >1 year ago) Please feel to contact me to ask questions through ebay or phone. I can be called at nine 1 nine 427 six two 50. I know this truck and trust any venture in it. All power functions work properly, this includes air conditioning. There is NO rust on this truck, it is in very good condition for its age and will not let you down. It is fun to drive, fun to ride in and has become my favorite tailgating companion. The only negatives I have to list is the dash is cracked, but can be easily mended with a cover, and the doors have the common K1500 POP. They are not visually sagging, but do need the hinges changed out. I have never taken major issue to either of these problems therefore never addressed. I did have a carfax completed when purchased and it had listed two accidents. One in the rear and one in the front. There is no evidence of either being major. I replaced the hood with a factory replacement at time of painting. I still have original if you wish to have. I am only interested in local pickup or shipping that you arrange. I do expect a $500.00 deposit via paypal within 24 hours of sale. Please feel free to bid, this is a great truck.
