Vehicle Detail
This is a well sorted TR-4A. An excellent driver. Solid with no rattles. An older body restoration, 1992, but still looks excellent. Seats were recently redone in the original color combination of white with black piping. The top is white and the interior door panels are black with white piping. Door panels are original and in excellent condition. The interior color combination is rare and to original spec. A real head turner at shows. The dash wood is new as is the dash top and brackets. Windshield and rubber has been replaced. Luggage rack was an option. All guages and switches work perfectly. Guages are beautiful with no pitting on the chrome. Original steering wheel included and in excellent condition - although, the current wheel from Moss motors feels excellent when driving. Wire rims, hubs, spin-offs and tires are all new. The original white rims and hub-caps with the raised Triumph crest are included. Stainless steel exhaust. Suspension componants have been replaced - bushings, tie rod ends, IRS universal joints. New brakes, master cylinder, fuel pump, electronic ignition, distributor cap/wires. Engine is strong and burns no oil. There is one small 'drip' by the rear main seal, but too small to require changing at this point. This car has been well maintained and is a reliable, fun driver. Whatever has been required mechanically, was done every season. The floor boards and trunk are solid. The 1992 body restoration has held up well and still looks beautiful. The rear bumper chrome has the pitting that comes with age, yet hardly noticeable. This is a beautiful, rare, TR-4A IRS. Not a 'white glove' show car - but a a very respectable classic Triumph.
