Vehicle Detail

Most of the problems this car has is because I left it sitting for too long. Also, I can't get the trunk open because the trunk latch was disconnected the last time I had work done on it at the dealership, and they didn't re-connect it, and the key won't open it. I think there are brand new Monroe rear struts inside the trunk. Also, there is extensive rust along the rocker panels and possibly the frame. The back 2 tires are flat. The air conditioning needs a charge of freon. It started up and ran beautifully up until fairly recently, but I got lazy and let it sit without starting it for too long, so now it will only turn over. It also has a remote starter installed in it, which works. (It will only turn over with the remote starter too). It also has an alarm installed, also working. The battery has been plugged in the whole time its been sitting. The sunroof is cracked in one corner. It was like that when I bought it from the previous owner and it doesn't leak AT ALL, never has. The car has a reject sticker because it failed high speed emissions, but now that it is so old it doesn't get tested for emissions anymore, at least not in the state of Massachusetts I believe. It has power windows, power locks, cd and cassette players, am/fm stereo, air conditioning, and a sunroof. The last work I had done on it was at the Toyota dealership in Lynn, MA and it cost around $750.00. They had it up and running great! (Then when I got it home I just plugged in the battery, got lazy, and let it sit). The dealership probably has it on record what work was done on it. (I can't find the paperwork!) This is a great project car! That was my intention, which is why I've held on to it for so long, but I just don't know enough about cars nor do I have the time anymore to fix up this great little car which I've owned since August 3, 1999. Even in the state it's in, I'm sad to see it go. It was a dependable, great car that never let me down.
