Take 3: My X1 is on its way... Take 2: Since last time I listed the car, I put an order for the new X1 which fits my travels better. So very motivated to sell the car and adding pictures. Also, the convertible was making some noise, so I took it to a dealer. I had replaced the hydraulics back in March but this time some of the hooks are slightly warped. The bad news is that it will cost $1,200 to fix but I did not fix it. The good news for you the buyer is that the dealer checked it free for any more maintenance he could charge me of of course, so: 1. I got 4 brand new tires, dealer had the usual special 3+1 free Continentals. See the pictures. 2. I replaced 2 belts which were cracked and was about time.3. I am reducing the price by $1,400 to counter the convertible. Although you can align the hooks for less - per Jimmy - my other mechanic. So buy now price is $16,450. Just under the good ranking in KBB and NADA, although it is way above the ebay rating. But as I said, I need to make room for the X1. great mechanical condition It drives awesome! The engine sounds just the first day I got it 4 1/2 years ago. @26k or so. always garaged and no snow/salt or any rust...naturally. I bought and drove the car in Charlotte, NC, in 2008. I drove it mostly to work and some long travels so about 12K highway miles in the last 4 1/2 years. I now travel most of the time for my work and I don't need this car.exterior Kept the car garaged and with regular BMW wax treatments. So overall the paint is in great condition. Somebody hit my rear bumper in-directly while slowly rolling to a red light. So there is a car fax event. The bill was under $1,000 just re-doing some paint work really.The front bumper also has some small paints missing and one of the hinges is broken. This is something you may want to take care at some point. This is the only reason why I don'rank the car as excellent.Has a dent on the side door. But no paint is missing. I cannot even take a picture to show the dent cause of the wax and the black colorVarious little scratches here and thereinteriorThe leather sports, bucket seats and overall interior looks good.The sports package includes the chrome trim across the front, radio, and around the transmission. Awesome, to look when shifting on steptronics.The driver's seat has some wear but no leather tears of course, The passenger front seat has the side wing just a bit apart - see picture I also have an IPOD connector going to the glove compartment.
