Please read everything before you place a bid or contact me!!!!!!!! For sale is a 1997 Audi A4 quattro. This car has a standard 5-speed transmission with the 2.8 liter gasoline engine. I acquired this car a few months ago from the second owner of the car (who had it about ten years )with the intention of driving it until I bought a cheaper car that got better gas mileage. This car runs very well for the age and the miles that it has. 196,098 miles Recently tuned up: new battery oil change air filter spark plugs coolant flush cabin filter a/c charged and works great exhaust patched No engine lights on! This car runs great. It is really enjoyable to drive. With the quattro all wheel drive and the pirelli tires on it, this car handles the road very nicely. Also, the car has a nice stereo system and is equipped with a sunroof. The interior of this car is really very clean. the seats in the car (especially in the front) are well worn, and unfortunately does not do the rest of the interior justice. The underneath of this car is very impressive for its age. The exterior of the car looks really nice. I cannot find any panels on the car that have been repainted. Keep in mind, this car has seen about 200k miles worth of road. so the exterior paint is not flawless. the only touching up I did was on the hood of the car. The plastic interior door handle sills shows wear in the paint. The bad: I do not know the service history of the car. The only thing the previous owner told me was that he had it since it was nearly brand new and he said the car has always been good to him. My mechanic patched the exhaust, however he tells me that eventually I will need a new one. He also tells me that the struts on the car are well worn. The windshield wipers do not turn on. Cruise control does not work 6 disc cd player in trunk does not work. Or so I could not get it to. The car could use a wheel alignment Previous owner spilled paint in the trunk Seats are torn in front ( see pictures) I only have one key for the car, I have the remote, however the buttons are not there, plus it needs a new battery. front valance is missing and car does not have an up to date inspection sticker Basically, that is it about the car. I do not know any of its service history, but I do know it runs great and with some TLC this car will make somebody a very nice ride. I have a NO RESERVE set on this car.Within 24 hours of the auction ending I require a $300 deposit through paypal. The rest of the payment must be in person, and CASH ONLY. no other types of payment will be accepted! Unfortunatly, due to a rising number of illegitimate and unlawful ebay members, I kindfully remind everybody that nonpaying bidders WILL NOT be tolerated. This car will be listed for 1 week. During that time I strongly advise all potential bidders to come and preview the car in person before they place a bid. This is an online auction to buy a car, not buy a test drive then decide you do not want to pay. I will accomodate anybody who wants to preview the car and/or ask any questions.This car is being SOLD AS IS. NO Warranties. NO Returns. The car must be fully paid for and picked up within a week. I do not want the vehicle lingering around after payment is complete, therefore I suggest whoever buys it trailers or has it towed off my property in a timely fashion.
