FOR SALE: 2001 Honda S2000 Convertible. Grand Prix White with Red Leather Interior. 9000 rpm 240-horsepower 2.0-liter VTEC four cylinder engine. 6-speed manual transmission. 50,528 miles. Purchased from original owner two years ago, who is a close family friend. I helped him buy the car in May 2001 with the caveat that if he ever sold it, he’d give me right of first refusal. Originally purchased from Honda of Lisle in Lisle, Illinois, and garaged since new in Southern California. An almost freakishly pristine version, and expertly maintained by older original owner and current Honda caretaker. Like new save driver’s seat, which has some slight discoloration and wear on left lumbar, and right rear wheel lip which has some small scrapes. All original except floor mats, which I replaced with OEM dark gray mats from the original red (for a little contrast), and Dunlop Direzza Sport tires which have about 3,000 of the 6,000 miles I put on the car in the last 2 years. Top is like new, and tonneau cover is included. Astonishingly satisfying car to pilot. Got to live the VTEC dream for two years, but rarely have time to drive the car and refuse to let it sit.
