Vehicle Detail

OK you are bidding on a 1991 Honda Civic. This was a project started by a friend which I finished. Be aware some of the information is not correct due to it automatically grabs info from VIN This is a 5Spd Manual Transmission with a DOHC ZC Engine!!!!! The car started as a shell (with 189k miles) and was converted to a ZC engine. The engine was purchased from JDM star out of Albany NY for $900.00 with a guarantee that the motor is betweeen 40 to 60k miles on it. A ZC 5 sp transmission ($700.00) and ZC ECU were also purchased. Additional parts purchased New battery New Axles The right side was custome made from an 85 Honda shaft to properly match the correct axle length which the right Integra axles does not New distributor (comes with car but not installed. A mis diagnosis when I first tried to get car running [it works fine] caused me to purchase but turned out to be operator error when installing new wiring harness) New Radiator, hoses, thermostat, antifreeze and water pump New timing belt and alternator belt New Flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bearing All brand new motor mounts New exhaust (note I have a brand new Catalytic Converter that goes with car, right now is a bypass pipe) New spark plugs, wires New front wheel bearings Front brakes were recently done All 4 wheels were converted to 14". Front tires have 1000 miles on them (like new) rears have 5000 miles at most (almost new) All new fluids (synthetic) (Mobil 1) in engine and transmission New speakers for radio (radio is fairly new and has CD player) Front seats have been replaced (bought used but very good condition) New Oxygen sensor New paint job (and hub caps) So your kind of getting a new car but I want to be up front about some small issues First the paint job was done by myself. not bad from 10 ft away but if you get closer you can see places where I did not prep the body perfectly. On the hood there were about 8-9 small hail bumps that I tried to fill in and smooth the hood. You can still slightly see where the bumps are. The same is true for the rear hatch along the line where the emblems are where there are. Also there is a small strip below the headlights that has a few scratches. The front dash board has a small crack just to the right of the speedometer console The interior caps in the trunk area that cover the top bolts to the rear shocks are both missing The new seats look great but I made a major goof where they came out of a 4 door vehicle, this means that they don't angle forward that much. People can still get in the back seat if you slide the seat forward but its more difficult. This car was a model that did not come with AC. This could be an issue if you drive in the summer in traffic. I am including an AC compressor and mount bracket that came with the ZC motor and you can install AC by going to a pick a parts place and strip off the required parts (control, condenser..) The power steering pump was not installed, it will be included with car but in my opinion was not needed The good, this engine runs great and is double the HP over ther stock engine (135 HP) All the work has been done and no miles have been put on the car except for driving around the neighborhood to test everything. The car shifts fine and has plenty of power. I feel this is good for a younger person that would use to drive to school or work. Its not a Lexus but could be fun and reliable. Also as mentioned the paint job is not perfect but I put three separate coats on the car so it should preserve the body for a little while and I used good quality automotive paint.
