1971 Midget Mk IV, 1,275cc. Viper Red repaint. Runs great! True mileage unknown. British-owned and much restored over last 3 years; engine, clutch, rear brakes, rear suspension, battery, interior and fittings. Fresh oil change, valves, timing and carbs adjusted. No top or heater (who needs them in So. California?). Gauges work (after-market oil pressure gauge), but fuel gauge probably needs new fuel tank sensor. No CA smog needed. Clear CA title. New CA registration to Sept. 2013. Sept. 4 - Following a couple of emailed questions I have added pictures of the interior and engine. Yes, the car does have both seats - my original upload did not show the passenger seat. And in the pictures of the interior you will see some dashboard wiring, which includes the hazard warning lights switch, hanging loose. I do not have the center console to which this would be attached, but the switch and hazard lights do work. Also missing is the cover to the wiper and indicator switches behind the steering wheel. While the car does not have a top I do have the frame. Please remember this is a 40-year-old car. Anyone who knows British cars appreciates they are always "a work in progress". But the engine to my car is good, the body is solid, it runs well and looks great. It will not take much to make this a show-worthy car. For me, it has been my weekend fun-car and "tinker toy" which, unfortunately, I am being forced to sell. I hope it goes to a loving owner. Thank you.
