This is for the contractual legal rights -- we can agree on the language -- to my Model S reservation number (low 3000s) which will entitle you to delivery in November or December (based on what Tesla last told me) -- but this is an estimate, not a guarantee. This will amount to a significant time savings (at least a year) over walking into a dealer or calling up Tesla and getting in line right now. The car has not been configured yet, so you will be able to customize it to your specifications. The price of the car, taxes and ancillary fees is not included. Nonetheless, I will do my best to capture the federal credit for you, but make no promises, and you should assume that you won't get it for the purposes of this auction. You will be able to take delivery at a place of your choosing. Deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction close and full payment of bid amount is due via cashiers check or wire within 7 days. Once funds have been transferred, buyer will be allowed to configure the vehicle. Once configuration is locked, Tesla will not allow for any changes. Full payment of final invoice from Tesla will be due around 30 days prior to delivery. I will be stuck with whatever vehicle is configured should the buyer fail to close, so all payments to me (including deposit and full bid amount) will be non-refundable.
