Vehicle Detail
You're looking a prime example of an all original 560SEL featuring the rare limited slip differential option. I bought the car and used it as a daily driver this summer while I was rebuilding my 47 Buick. I really bought the car because my two year old daughter was not a fan of riding around in my non A/C 70 Chevy pickup. Paint is all original and shows no indication that it's ever been involved in an accident. All exterior lighting and electrics work (including the headlight wipers and squirters) with the exception of the power antenna (only goes partway up and partway down). Interior is very nice with the only flaw being the center armrest and console (armrest has cracking but isn't split - console latch is broken). All interior features work - from the A/C to the cruise control to the factory Becker premium sound system. Even the factory reclining rear seat works! Mechanically, the car is up to date on maintenance and should be good to go until it's next oil change (just changed 300 miles ago with Mobil 1). Recent work includes a rebuilt fuel distributor, new front wheel bearings, new tires, shifter bushings and alignment. So, in summary: The GOOD: + A/C works (converted to R134) + Just passed Texas emissions for inspection + New tires + Rebuilt fuel distributor + New front wheel bearings + New shifter bushings + Just aligned The BAD: + Antenna doesn't go all the way down + Three scratches on the top of the trunk lid + Center console latch is broken + Arm rest in center has some cracking The pictures tell the best story: On Sep-02-12 at 09:37:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Some have asked about how she starts, runs, drives, etc., and I think the best way to do that is a video that is far too long with really bad commentary (enjoy): On Sep-03-12 at 16:32:58 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: Blower resistor starting giving me a bit of trouble today - blower motor sometimes does not come up to full speed (workaround is to set it to defrost, let the blower come to full speed, and then switch to the vents or let the motor come to full speed before starting the engine). Just factor that into your bid. Thanks!
