I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPERTUNITY TO PLUG MY FRIENDS AT TRAIL TOUGH AND PETROWORKS!!!!!!!!On Sep-01-12 at 18:48:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Milage is actually 92,530. Conversion was done in 2001 but is smogged as a 1994. I actually had this Sammy shipped to Brent @ Trail Tough in Oregon he did the engine conversion with my parts. Sammy does have power steering with a cooler, and Hella composite headlamps. Rear axle the hybrid Sidekick unit. This Sammy has spent just about every minute of its life with me either in my garage or enclosed trailer. Since I've owned it I think I've put 12,000 miles on it. On Sep-01-12 at 18:58:08 PDT, seller added the following information: NEVER smoked in, NO weird smells, No leaks. I have changed the oil at least anually. Last year I think I put 300 miles on her.On Sep-02-12 at 12:01:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are some items I think you should know: Since this is 25 year old vehicle don't expect it to be showroom fresh. The body has a couple dings from parking lots, the paint is in fantastic condition for age and all original except for the hood, rt door upper, and rt targa bar. This has been a California vehicle all of its life. No rust to mention. The speedometer is off by about 15 mph due to the axle gears. The spare has some sun cracking but is usable as it is. All of the lights and heater etc. work. On Sep-03-12 at 11:45:26 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SENTENCE LISTED ABOVE: " ZERO OR LOW FEEDBACK BIDDERS WILL HAVE THEIR BIDS REMOVED UNLESS YOU CONTACT ME FIRST." SORRY I HAVE TO DO THIS, BUT I DO AND WILL.On Sep-04-12 at 08:15:06 PDT, seller added the following information: More Clarifaction: Engine swap was completed in 2001 with an obd 1 engine wiring harness and computer from a 1994 which has easier to pass requirements for the referees tests for smog compliance. Engine and trans are a 1996. Transfer case is a stock Samurai. Rear axle assm is a Sidekick/Tracker center section and third member with Samurai tubes, axles and brakes hence it's a hybrid. The gears are much beefier than the Samurais. Rear is limited slip (which was brand new out of the box in 2001), for streetability but safe traction when necessary. Front locker only locks when hubs are locked, THIS IS NEVER SUGGESTED FOR DRY SURFACE CONDITIONS! And unnecessary to boot. Runs down the highway just fine, the axle ratio works well as the tires which are about five inches taller than stock. While I have friends that tried all kinds of crazy transfercase gears, I never broke ANYTHING not even a u joint, but they did. I primarily used this vehicle for the sand dunes and desert. Not rock crawling. This was never a daily driver. Just a toy. However if a guy wanted to go beat the crap out of it rock crawling some transfer case gears won't hurt! Win this this auction and do with her what you will (I just don't want to watch).
