You’ll rarely find an E30 3 series Convertible in this condition and with the somewhat rare and desirable factory hardtop. Most of these cars have a lot of miles, and most of them have been used up and patched up with cosmetic repairs to sell quickly. I am a BMWCCA member and an enthusiast and have pampered this rust-free California only car for as long as I’ve owned it. I am the second owner. I have all the records and receipts from 1989 to document it's history and maintenance. It’s always been both garaged and covered, and only driven on the sunniest of days. It has been and is a great car for BMW car club events, EuroSunday/Cars and Coffee type gatherings, long drives in the mountains with the top down. and my daughter's wedding ceremony. The BMW wind-blocker allows for much quieter, less windy drives in all temperatures. Like most 23+ year -old cars it has had a couple of minor replacement parts here and there, details on request and in the records if you would like them. It just passed the California smog test (good until 11/13/2012), proof that the engine and catalytic convertor are in great shape. California registration is paid till 8/2013. The automatic transmission works perfect with no leaks. Buyer has the choice of either the Racing Dynamic RGR 15 x 7 rims or the stock BBS 14 x 6.5 rims, both sets are shown in the photos, and both sets have near new tires on them. The only known issue is that the A/C could use a recharge. The driver's seat shows some age cracking but the rest of the leather is near perfect. Late summer and fall are the perfect seasons for having a convertible. This car could be the perfect one for you.I’d not hesitate to fly in and drive this car cross country and will gladly pick you up at the local airport (Chico, CA.) or assist in arranging shipping.
