You are bidding on a 1967 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Convertible. It runs and drives good. The body is also solid with no holes. This car does need some TLC. It has the soft top but will need the material redone. Also comes with the removable hard top. The underneath is in great condition with no holes. The back passenger side wheel well has some rust bubbling the paint and some cracking on the back lower panel but the rest of the body is good and the paint is good. I took this to a mechanic to have him go over it and told me this, it has new brake lines all the way around, 4 new tires, new front end steering, new brakes and rotors are good, back brakes are 5 bonded ,new wheel cylinders on both sides, drums are good, underneath is solid and floors too, all fluids are good, horn works, tachometer works but speedometer doesn't, lights and turning signals are not working properly, something is going on with the ignition, it starts fine but you have to hold it up with some pressure and if you bump the key while it is running it will stall out. Probably needs a new ignition. It needs some interior work as you can see in the pictures. This car is not show quality but could be very very nice with not much work.
