Vehicle Detail
2000 Hyundai Elantra Wagon, Major upgrades done in the last 3,000 miles --Professionally done: front axel, fuel pump in gas tank, cadalytic converter, spark plug wiring, hydraulic hose ... car has been very well kept. Brakes pads were done less than 2000 miles ago. The A/C blows cold and the heater works as it should. The cruise control is very nice and handy on the freeways. Has BOSCH ignition and a high-performance overhead cam. This 4-cyclinder gets good gas mileage. The back seats fold down to have extra storage if needed. I call it my mini-suv - it is amazing what this car can hold. I have snow tires in the front and it pulls right up the steepest hill around. Tires are still good - just passed inspection. The car has been reliable and has always ran good for us, however I am selling it "AS-IS". I am not a dealership, so there is no extended warranty, refunds, etc. Please note, a $250 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions close and full balance due within 3 days. Please do not bid if you do not have the money. I do not want to trade anything, as it is, I am selling it below my cost. Also the car is being advertised locally ... therefore if the car sells, I reserve the right to end the auction early. The PA tags are good until April 2013 and PA state inspection good until May 2013. Great work or student car. According to Ebays Kelly Blue book value, a 2000 Hyundai Elantra Wagon ranges from $3700 - $4260. Furthermore, the "Auto Check Score" for this car well exceeds the normal score range of 14-37 with a score rating of 44 (was 46 on last listing? Nothings changed. All I did was drop the price). Known Issues: Has a little rust as usual for PA (see last two pictures of the rust on passage rear wheel well and the bottom of the hatchback). The rest of the body is straight and the interior is nice for the age. Also the passenger rear window needs new cable, the electric motor is good. You can buy the whole assembly from the dealer last I checked for $150 -- 3 bolts and it's installed. Just my opinion, if you have a little time you pop off the door panel and remove one assembly for the other. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. Also the radio and CD player functionally work fine; however, the face plate was cracked before I got it which displays only part of what you see. It never bothered me since I had programmed the buttons to the stations I liked and used the CD player. To see a 2 minute clip (very home-made!) of the car click on the following youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xWtEwiPmb8&list=HL1345413203&feature=mh_lolz Some of you expressed an interest in a test drive, for your convenience, my wife and I took the Hyundai Elantra on the freeway for a test drive which you can see if you click on the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnk20n_qWuQ&feature=youtu.be
