DESCRIPTION: This 1967 GTV ALFA ROMEO GUILIA SPRINT GT VELOCE (GTV) coupe is a great looking car and it runs and drives as good as it looks! When we took the car to shoot the pictures we were amazed at how well behaved it was. Although we don't have the complete pedigree on this particular example it is abundantly clear that someone spent a lot of time and money getting this car into proper condition. The interior of the car looks almost new with only a few cracks in the faux wooden dashboard.These scarce 2-door coupes look like they are on the move even when they are at a standstill. The body by Bertone has an iconic crab-like styling that was ahead of it's time when it was designed and they have become classics. The original twin cam 1600cc engine is coupled to a factory 5-speed transmission and it is fed by an electric fuel pump and two side draft Weber carburetors. Electronic ignition helps the car to fire right up and increases the performance and reliability. This car also passed New York States rigid Motor Vehicle safety inspection. This Alfa Romeo has power assisted 4 wheel disc brakes with ATE calipers. It also has KONI shock absorbers on all four corners and new springs have been added as well. The mechanical aspects of this car work so well that we would have to assume it was thoroughly overhauled. The engine is flawless, the clutch operates like a new one and the transmission shifts easily with no problems. The exhaust system is stock and sounds just like it is supposed too.
