1968 Ford Mustang Gt coupe with 74K original miles 289 v8 auto matching numbers.This is an original BARN FIND. The car was originally bought from Lothrop Ford in Belfast, Maine.It was sold by the salesman Harvey Knight to his future wife Carol.Carol works at Waldo County General Hospital and for years they lived in Belfast on Congress Street.After she put a dent in the rear of the car the vehicle lost its lustre in their lives and was put in the barn of Harveys mother.This car literally was driven back and forth from Congress Street to Lincolnville Ave in town and maybe upta camp a few times.This does need a complete restoration. It starts and runs well. The pans are rusted. It has been painted once before.The vehicle is very complete.The glass is all there. We have taken a lot of pictures to tell the story of the car.It is equipped with a 289 2bbl carb and automatic transmission. Transmission shifts smoothly as you can see it does have the original Maine State inspection sticker from 82/83 as well as the number plates that go with the vehicle.This is an original non-molested specimen. There is no reserve on this car and we will sell it.It will be the buyers responsibility for transportation however we will try to accomodate anyone.we will require a 500 dollar deposit within 48 hrs after the sale has finished.We are located on the beautiful coast of Maine in the town of Searsport.
