Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1967 Porsche 912 SWB. This is a very fun car to drive, handles great, and gets a lot of attention. The car has made several 140 mile trips recently without any problems. Have not had problems with overheating even in 100 degree weather. I am selling to finance my wife a new car. These little Porsche's are easy to work on and modify to your taste. I enjoy driving my cars and this is not a garage queen. The horn, blinkers, lights, wipers and brakes all work great. The cars original weather stripping is dry and cracking and the windshield has some bubbles in it which have not bothered me. Dash stereo does not work but I like the look of the older unit. I have a small hidden stereo with MP3 input and AM/FM tuner under the passenger dash which I find sufficient(the wires in the interior picture are no longer hanging down). The sound of the engine accelerating usually beats what is on the radio anyway. The steering wheel is one of my favorite parts of the car. I feel it gives the car even more personality and completes the vintage feel. The window tint is peeling in several places. The front bumper has a small depression under the passenger bumperette from a light impact but is not very noticeable. The front California plate was damaged but I still have the rear plate. The car is mostly rust free. The floorboards seem to be in good condition. There is some surface rust under the rear seats but no holes. The only exterior rust is a small place bubbling under the rear window. Very solid vintage Porsche. Tires are in very good condition and these wheels polish up nice. This really is a great driver. I hate to get rid of it as the prices are starting to climb on these early models. I also really enjoy the collector car insurance which is only $350/year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to arrange a time to see the car before you bid. No tire kickers please and do not bid unless you are prepared to purchase. Thanks.
