I have a 1997 F350 XLT one non-smoking owner, one driver truck for sale. Bought new in Dec/97 in Georgia, driven to Wyoming where it has spent its life. It is 5 speed, 4x4, with a narrow dual wheel 4.10 axle, 138" wheel base. The flatbed was custom built as low as possible with a six inch drop down the center. The side boxes were built as deep as possible, one piece with the body. The front boxes are 24" deep, 24" tall, 36" long at the base and 48" long at the top. The rear boxes are 18" deep, 24" tall, 18" long at the bottom and 30" long at the top. Running boards were built at the same time as the body and can be made to open also. Truck has dual tanks, vacuum over hydraulic and electric brake controllers with a K & N filter, engine is stock, never had chips and has had regular oil changes and maintenance its whole life. Truck comes with 4 Alcoa dual wheels, 2 steel dual wheels and 2 Ford forged aluminum single rear wheels for snow. The front tires and single rear tires are Firestone Transforce with 80% tread, the dual rear tires are ready to be replaced. The air conditioner hold a charge for a couple years but works fine. The driver seat does have seat belt wear on the side and the steering wheel has a wear spot on the leather. I've been told that it may be ready for a set of injectors, but compression is good. I did go back to rectangular sealed beam headlights. Other than these items, truck is in good shape for the year and mileage. The truck does have a few dents and dings, but no body rust except on the tail gate. It comes with a 2- 5/16" ball in bed and a pintle hook. It has been a good truck, I hate to see it go.
