Vehicle Detail

1967 mustang fastback project car for sale. This car came from the factory as a 289 V8 "c" code standard transmission car. Original color was wimbledon white (M code) with black interior (2a code). Marti report shows the code as body style 63A fastback, 1 as transmission, and 0 as axle. The floors have been patched up, the full rear frame rails were replaced, also the quarter panels, wheel houses, trunk floors etc but the last owner was going to tub it for racing so he cut the ends of the rear shock mounting panel off when he was working on it. You could continue down his path or replace the panel. The upper dr trunk corner is bondoed up.The front of the car hasn't been fixed yet. The shock towers and rear of the front frame rails look pretty good but the boxes section in front of the shock towers rusted for some reason and will need to be fixed. You could probably continue to use patch panels to finish up and use or to get it done cheap. My plans for this car was to strip it down to a bare shell, have it dipped to strip it clean, reweld everything to ensure a quality factory look job and then do a full restoration but I just havent had the time and its probably been sitting for a year by now. The bright white on the car is primer sealer for preserving it, not paint, and will need to come off for proper body work/restoration. This is a full restoration project and needs to be torn down and fully restored. The only thing not show but is included is the front and rear glass. The door glass is included but the glass and frames are in poor shape and probably need to be replaced.Car is missing some pieces so look before you bid- what you see is what you get. For instance i know for sure I don't have a trap door (you can get a used one for $100) and the trunk lid is rusted underneath and the 2bl carb is missing. No door tag- repros are around 30. The drive train, interior and glass were just losely dropped in there to show what I have with the car. There are extra parts as shown in the pic's with the car to go along with it. Selling the car as is where is- you must arrange transportation. Ebay process forced a title description so i picked clear but there is no title. CT doesn't issue titles for cars this old and its been off the road for decades from what I was told. I will be providing an official state of CT bill of sale (H-31 REV. 10-2001) only with the car so no out of country bidders please. Please be sure to have the money and a means to transport it before you bid. Deposit of $200 due within 48 hours of auction close, full payment due within 7 days of auction close and pickup within 14 days of the auction closing. Sell to bidders from/on the continental US only Please ask any questions before you bid. Bidding on Ebay Automobile auctions not only represent a legally binding contract to buy car but also cause a mess for the buyer and sellers if the terms of the sale arent completed as outlined above. Please ask any questions before you bid- No Reserve. I reserve the right to end the auction early and sell it locally.
