Vehicle Detail
This Bronco is owned by Jake who is an employee at Tom’s Bronco Parts. Many of you who have visited Tom's Bronco Parts shop or watched the project section of their web page over the past few years have probably seen the transformation of this Bronco. Now I am having my first child and looking to sell this one of a kind 1973 Bronco. Over $22,000 of TBP parts and thousands more in paint and body work, tires and wheels, and motor were spent completing this full frame-off restoration. Not to mention the countless man hours that go in to a project of this detail. To build a Bronco of the quality one could easily spend over $50,000. This Bonco is for sale on TBP web site so auction could end at any time. The mechanical highlights of this ’73 are: 351W with Edelbrock intake and carburetor, polished ceramic coated headers, Flow Master Series 50 dual exhaust, NV 3550 5spd transmission, rebuilt Dana 20 with twin stick, High Pinion Dana 44 complete with 4.56 gears, HD Chrome Moly axles, & Power Lock traction device. The rear axle is a big bearing 9? with 4.56 ring and pinion, Detroit Locker, 31 spline HD axles. Lift kit is the TBP Stage 12 5.5? with extended radius arms, also installed is a 23 gallon steel rear tank, 3.1 close ratio power steering kit with Saginaw pump, Griffin HD Aluminum radiator, high flow aluminum water pump, Flaming River polished stainless steel tilt column, all stainless steel brake lines and braided hoses, and power front disc brakes. Cosmetically the Bronco has had: After completely sand-blasting the frame, body and differentials, Por 15 was applied to the frame and differential housings. The underside as well as the interior of the body was sprayed with Raptor Bed Liner, and then a Quiet Ride insulation was laid out on the interior floor. Also a complete new interior was installed, including seats, carpet, quarter panel inserts, door panels, all new seals and gaskets. Also installed were new interior and exterior chrome bezels along with new grill chrome plus new lenses and lights. A nice two-stage base and clear coat paint job was laid on, while at the same time a fiberglass cowl induction hood was installed and painted to match. A few additional modifications include: quick release stainless steel door hinges, black powder coated front Impact bumper with SmittyBilt winch, black rear powder coated Impact bumper with spare tire carrier, family six point roll bar, black soft top and family bikini skin, 5 37×13.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, 5 Pro Comp polished aluminum wheels, and Sony CD player with I-pod hook up.
