1970 Porsche 911S Targa This is a matching numbers car: Serial # 9110310125, engine # 6300289, transmission # 711398 along with aluminum rear deck, the original 911S Owner’s Manual and tool kit (not all original tools) and odometer show’s 87,210 miles. The original color 1410 - Signal Orange repainted Black in 1998 when the owner added steel flares and other modifications. No evidence of rust or collision damage and paint quality is 7.5. Has some road rash on the front spoiler and rear steel flares. The gas tank has been restored, the electrical system converted to single 12 volt Optima. MFI was changed to Weber’s along with the following: Perma Tune ignition, short gears, strut brace, Quaife LSD and SSI exchangers. The Fuchs 7 & 8's x 15 with silver anodized spokes and black background refinished by Robert Woods. In past 2 years rebuilt the accelerator pedal and linkage, shifter and replaced coupler plus light/signal controller on steering column and clutch cable. The doors were changed 1998 for latter model with power windows and fixed vent windows. Owner purchased period correct driver and passenger side vent window assembly's separately on eBay 5 years ago not installed. Owner has 56+ receipts from 1998 to present totaling over $25,000. $17,000 was spent ’98 – ’99. The car was serviced 8-2-12 at Protech Motorsports, Greenville, SC and is in excellent mechanical condition. They went thru the car and changed Oil and filter, Valvoline max 20W50 (live in the South), replaced the starter relay, adjusted carbs(cleaned low speed jets). This is not a garage queen; it has been driven & enjoyed. The previous three owners were long time members of the PCA and Early 911S Registry. Owner is also a PCA & Early S member
