For sale: one of the best condition 300D's out there, especially considering the mileage. The car was purchased in Arizona, so there is no rust. I'm the third owner, and I have owned the car for 5 years. The car had 385,000 miles when I purchased it: the condition of the car sold me. For those of you who know these cars: they run forever, and this vehicle is a prime example. After I bought the car, my Mercedes mechanic and I went through the car in the first few months and replaced the radiator, water pump, shifter bushings, valve adjustment, hood insulation (it was missing when I bought the vehicle), shocks, and all injector fuel lines. I also added an after-market CD radio and speakers, window tint, and a K & N air filter. The car has also had a single tank WVO conversion done, but it is disconnected at this time due to my living in a colder climate; however, the conversion does work. I've put 42,000 miles on this car, and it never left me stranded anywhere. I've driven it from Arizona where it was purchased, to California for the WVO conversion, and then to Florida in a single trip. I've also driven it from Florida to New York, and vice versa, several times, and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Everything works on the car except the A/C. The interior is in great condition, but the center armrest has some cracks due to cold weather. The car has its original paint, and it's in great condition; the hood paint has faded somewhat, due to the missing insulation (which I replaced). The car gets 30 mpg when driven respectfully.
