We are now in our 10th year selling on Ebay with over 1,300 positive feedbacks! MotoeXotica was one of the Pioneer Classic Car dealers on Ebay and have seen a lot of dealers come and go. We have a brick and mortar 30,000 sq. ft. building on 5 acres in St. Louis, MO to serve you; we like to sell our cars the same way as we would like to purchase them, fairly and honestly. We ask for a nominal $500.00 credit card deposit and give you a 7 day grace period to inspect the car. If you find the car not to your liking we will refund your deposit with no questions asked should you get here and not like the vehicle. We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger. We offer financing through two of the best lenders in the industry. If you visit www.jjbest.com or www.woodsidecredit.com they are currently offering very attractive rates for all collector and special interest automobiles. With loan amounts from $10,000 to $500,000, and flexible terms of up to 12 years, you can get financed for as low as 6.99%. Please feel free to contact us at anytime during the duration of the auction with any questions you may have. Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. Start Slideshow Stop Slideshow Next Image Previous Image There’s no doubt that 1966 is one of the most popular Ford Mustang model years in the history of the car. In fact, March 1966 marked the creation of the millionth Mustang. Although the first few years were definitely good for Ford and its sporty Mustang, 1966 was the year all that hard work truly began to pay off. By 1966, most people began to associate the Ford Mustang with power and performance. It was the car to have if you needed a daily driver and it was the car to have if you needed a weekend cruiser with a sporty edge. In all, there were minimal changes to the Mustang in 1966. Production began in August of 1965 and featured a line up of: Coupe, Convertible, and Fastback. In all, Ford produced 607,568 total Mustangs in 1966. The car sported additional new colors, a redesigned grille, new instrument cluster, and new styled wheels. An automatic transmission became available for the “Hi-Po” V-8. Side scoops featured chrome trim with three wind-splits, and GT models received a new gas cap and driving lamps as standard equipment.Midway through the 1966 model year, the limited-edition Sprint 200 package began to be promoted due to the overwhelming demand for the 289 c.i.d. V-8, which Ford was running short of. What Ford was not running short of however was the 200 c.i.d. six cylinder; a direct result of the dismal sales of the newly-redesigned Falcon for 1966 (which also used this inline six as its standard engine). The Mustang Sprint 200 was a Ford promotion that would avoid a production slowdown in which the readily-available 200 six would be dressed up with a chrome air cleaner with a special decal and a chrome oil-filler cap. Two transmission packages were offered; "A" signified the car having a manual transmission, while "B" cars had automatics. It is estimated that of the total number of Sprint 200 Mustangs built in the 1966 model year that 75% of them were package "B" automatics. The car you see here is a true 1966 Mustang Fastback with Sprint 200 package. What makes this car rare are a few things. First, there were very few Mustang Sprint’s produced as a fastback. Most were coupes. Second this is an original 3 speed car. Of all the Sprint’s made, only about a quarter of them were 3 speed manuals, most were automatics. The car retains its original style wire hub caps and color combination from when it was new. We have a 2 inch thick binder of documentation on the car dating back to 1970 when a new exhaust system was installed. Everything that has ever been done to the car appears to have been documented and kept by the only owner the car has ever had. This is a true one owner car! The gentleman who owned the car worked at Western Auto Supply for many years in Kansas City. If the car needed anything he bought it with his employee discount and kept the receipts. The paint on the car is finished in its original color of Candyapple red and is in good overall condition but not perfect. It appears that the car has been resprayed many years ago. There are some scratches, fading and wear to the paint as you can see in the close up photos. The front and rear bumpers retain a good shine and luster and show no notable damage to either. Just some scratches and pitting from age. There is some bubbling on the lower rockers as well as around the wheel wells. No holes, but there is bubbling. Inside, the seats are in very good condition with no rips or tears. They have been reupholstered along with the fold down back seat. The carpet, door panels and headliner are all in good condition as well with just some sagging to the door panel vinyl as you can see in the photos. The dash does show some buckling and the steering wheel shows some separation at the seam. There has been the optional Rally Pac Gauge cluster installed that includes tachometer and working clock. The AM/FM radio does work with no problems.Under the hood, the inline 6 cylinder runs great. Connected to the three speed manual transmission, the car goes down the road with no issues and performs nearly as well as its V8 counterparts but saves you TONS of money at the pump! The car starts up with a turn of the key with no hesitation or smoking. The clutch is strong and doesn’t chatter. The trunk includes a full size spare as well as a jack. There is some rot in the trunk. The underside does show some rust to the floors as well as you can see in the photos. The torque boxes look solid though which is the most important thing under the car. The Good Year tires are in good condition overall with just some minor dry rot. They are wrapped around Ford wheels with wire Sprint hubcaps. VIN number is 6F09T318483 and the mileage currently shows 58,241.
