Vehicle Detail

1969 Buick Riviera that needs restored. 430 big-block V-8 with automatic transmission. Car runs and moves, but is not drivable due to needing brake work. It has some rare options for the year. It had four-piston front disk brakes, bucket seats with center console and shifter, was a factory A/C car and has a factory brand sunroof. I have read that you couldn't get a sunroof in a Buick in 1969, but the sunroof is the brand that GM used for factory ordered cars. The body of the car has some rust through behind the front wheels and above the back wheels. The drivers side floor pan has a few rust holes, but is very patachable. The passenger side floor pan has surface rust, but appears solid. The trunk floor is mostly solid with a few pinhole size rust spots where the spare tire would go. The frame is very solid. Interior carpeting, headliner, and door panels have been removed. I have the interior door panels. Drivers seat is power, but it does not move. The seat motor runs. It might be off the track? Sunroof motor runs, but sunroof doesn't move. Also off the track? Has power windows, but the switch is corroded and needs replaced. The radio is missing. I do not have the factory air cleaner, A/C pump or spare tire. One front brake caliper is leaking and the brake line going to the back is broken. The headlight vaccum canisters are not good. Motor seems to run good. Transmission moves the car forward and reverse, but I have not driven it on the road due to brakes. Exhaust that was on it when I bought it was pieced together poorly. Have true dual exhaust system taken off of a another Riviera. Fuel pump in tank is bad. It had an electric one on the frame that didn't work well. Added a mechanical fuel pump to the motor and is currently running off a gas can under the hood. This car is very much worth restoring. No reserve. No warranties implied (AS-IS). Car is for sale locally and reserve right to end listing early.
