Beautifully restored 1967 MGB Roadster. Meticulously restored. This car is beautiful inside and out and is a pleasure to drive. I have over $25,000 just in parts in this restoration. This has truly been a labor of love. I am selling it because I need to do another project. My wife won’t let me get another project until I sell this one. It has just over 600 miles on it since the restoration. The car had 130k on the speedometer when I started the restoration. Engine- Original motor (no # plate on it) but it is the original motor 5 main that came in the car new. New pistons, valve job including valves and valve seats, timing chain, oil pump, new crankshaft, motor was balanced and all new seals and bearings. Everything is new inside. Aluminum valve cover. I have the original one if you want it. Carburetors- Professionally rebuilt Original SU carburetors. They are syncronised and work beautifully. New solid state SU fuel pump. Distributor – Converted to electronic ignition. Flame thrower distributor,plus coil and wires. I have the original points distributor, coil and wires if you want them. Alternator – Converted to Delco alternator and negative ground. Still have two 6 volt batteries connected in the original position in new battery boxes. If you really want the original generator. I have it too. Transmission- I have installed an original overdrive transmission and New drive shaft that has been professionally rebuilt and works great. Cruises and drives great on the freeway. Included will be the original 3 syncro 4 speed transmission that has been rebuilt. Body – · New original fabric wiring harness, · New fuse lock and most of the switches. · Original headlight assemblies New head light bulbs and frame rings, · New convertible top · All new glass · Polished windshield frame looks like chrome · New Body side moldings · New chrome wire wheels and new Michelin tires. Spare is painted wheel with new Michelin. · New inner and outer door handles and locks · New gas tank and braided fuel lines · Front and rear Bumpers original (rechromed). They are gorgeous · New Grill · New mirrors on fenders · Original front and rear turn signal assemblies but new bezels and lenses I have the original hood from when the car was painted. As an afterthought, I installed an MGC hood. I hope this doesn’t make me a “poser”. The original hood comes with the purchase of the car. The original hood is aluminum. The MGC hood is steel. Paint - · Original color was English white or primrose. It was pretty bad. Car was stripped to bare metal. · All panels original and straight · Thumb nail sized rust on left and right dog legs. Properly treated and repaired. · Repaired “Crack of doom” on left and right doors at the wing windows. · Body is straight. · Painted 019 Black with clear coat. Car is gorgeous in person. Interior · Seats – original frames, new cushions and new doe skin Leather interior and diaphrams. Gorgeous o New door panels and all handles new. o All new locks · New Moss motors carpeting in cockpit and trunk. (not covering any rust It is clean under the carpet) · New Turnsignal switch · New sunvisors · Original Metal dash board with new wrinkle finish. Looks great. · New Heater core and heater cables heater knobs new Gauges · Original Tachometer ( converted for Negative ground). Works great. · Rebuilt speedometer. Works perfectly. · Temp and oil pressure gauge original – work perfectly · Fuel gauge original works perfectly Exhaust, · Original exhaust manifold · Installed a Monza brand exhaust system and it sounds fantastic. Brakes and suspension and Crossmember- · New front rotors, pads, wheel bearings and rebuilt calipers with new lines. · New Trunions · New Ball joints · Remanufactured dampers(shocks) front and rear · All brakes lines are new. · New Rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders · New rear leaf springs and bushings · New Front cross member/body bushings and all suspension bushings. · New brake and clutch master and slave cylinders Stereo- New stereo that accepts Ipod, Iphone, etc with box speaker in the back. Please note the speakers are removable and no holes were drilled in the body. I didn’t want to put holes in the car. I don’t have any pictures of the undercarriage. I will tell you that the undercarriage is rust free. It’s a California Car I don’t think I forgot anything. If I did, I’ll update the posting. Please feel free to ask questions. I am not a dealer.
