This 1975 OPEL MANTA 1900 is very rare in the US being from GERMANY. They where only avaliable in the US from 1970 to 1975 with a total of 498,553 made in that 6 year range, thats an average of 83,000 a year and the 1975 model was the only one that had Electronic fuel injection and thats almost impossible to find. Every car show I have gone to no one else has one. Most people have never heard of it but you can get just about anything for it at any local parts stores and a company call the opel gt source out of CA. This is the original color (signal blue) and has only had 1 repaint and being a texas car most of its life, NO RUST. The manta is in gauge kept condition my opinion, there is only 1 issue, there is a slight vacume leak some where and it occasionally affects the brake booster at a certain rpm range but runs, drives great and stops fine. I drive it almost everyday so you can fly in and drive it home across the country if need be. I was planning a motor swap on it, I bought a complete drive train out of a 2002 mustang from midwest mustang but $500 is still owed to pick it up, the car only has 80,000 mi. on it that it came out of and can go with or without the opel just call to work out the details. And the right rear center cap is on it now the tires are almost new, toyo proxes4 205/50R15 on the rear and hankook 185/55r15 on the front I have the orignal rally wheels and a lot of extra parts, repair manuals that all go with it. if you would like to know more than I can think of now you can call me any time 816-799-1660 thx kevin
