Vehicle Detail
This is the classic 911 targa with a special color which was only available for two years. This car drives superbly. It starts right up and sounds incredible due to the special stainless steel muffler and carbon fiber air filter cover. It has a slightly deeper tone than stock and is not obnoxious at speed. The car has plenty of power( 204 horsepower) on its way to red line. The five speed transmission is positive and solid aided by the addition of a short shift kit. This car was repainted in a nice quality respray. The paint has a deep luster as you can tell by the photos. There are a few paint chips but nothing to distract from a distinct automobile. The dash is perfect and not a crack in sight! The drivers door needs some minor adjustment to fit correctly at the bottom. There is one small dent in the panel behind the rear tire. The car has six inch on the front and seven inch on the back 16 inch Fuch wheels with gloss black centers. They are in very nice shape, except for the front passenger side which has some minor curb rash. Mounted on these wheels are Yokohama YK520's which were installed only 1700 miles ago so they look like new. Please also find a Clarion CD player, leather seats, power windows, H4 headlights, front spoiler and rear turbo spoiler, fog lights, headlight washers, and power antennae. The brakes are four wheel disc with grooved rotors. The brake pedal feel is exceptional. There are some very minor needs for this car which can be done at your leisure. The door panels in front need replacement. The RS door panels would be a perfect replacement at roughly $300. In addition the seats are due for recovering. The seat bottoms have been taped due to torn leather. The foam is still excellent so this should be minor also. The targa top seals will also need to be replaced. This is a car that could easily be driven cross country. Every thing works as it should, including all lights, wipers, emergency brake, mechanically it is excellent. The front windshield has a small star on the top and the middle rear view mirror is missing. This year Porsche has zinc coating on the metal so there is absolutely no rust anywhere. The bottom of the car is excellent. This is a very solid wonder driving automobile. The reserve is very low, reflective of the minor needs, and the best part is that this car will likely appreciate and be great fun while owning it.
