This vehicle is being sold for a friend from his mother's estate. The odometer stopped working at 129K miles. It is believed that the vehicle has over 140K miles. The speedometer works properly. We welcome a test drive. The car was owned it's entire life by the proverbial little old lady (Grandma Ruth) whom purchased it brand new in Oregon. It starts easily, does NOT smoke and is smooth running and quiet. It tracks down the road correctly and the brakes work well. The vehicle has never been abused or "hot-rodded." The engine has NEVER been cleaned and has oil in the usual places, but does NOT leak/drip oil. It has the 3.0 litre SOHC fuel-injected engine and has been very reliable. The exterior has never been hit and shows no signs of rust. She recently had it repainted and there are a few places where the paint has peeled. There are parking lot dings on both sides and a small dent in the hood, things to be expected on a car of this age. Please see photos. The interior is in overall good shape with no tears or rips in the seats and some minor wear. The A/C, cruise-control, 4 door power door locks, all lights, and instruments work properly. Both driver and passenger electric windows work properly. Back left window does not work and right side back window only goes down and has to be assisted going up. The radio works sporadically. The headliner is hanging down and will need to be replaced or re-stapled to the backing. The dash pad is free of cracks or damage but is coming up at the junction with the windshield. The rear tires are in good condition. The front tires will need replacement soon. This vehicle has a provision to tow a LIGHT (less than 3500 pounds) trailer, CLASS 2 trailer hitch and wiring (receipt included $201). The receiver and wiring is installed. Includes the hitch and ball (as seen in photo of trunk). Also included are a set of proper tire chains. Includes all original owner's manuals, original set of 2 keys, and some receipts in the glove box. Overall, this would be a very nice "starter" car for a student or entry-level car. The owner is not trying to hide anything by cleaning the engine compartment. AuthenticMaritime Offers a Test Drive and Assistance with shipping! HAPPY BIDDING! On a test drive, we noticed a slight vibration. Therefore, we thought that a tire had lost a wheel weight. The Right Rear Tire had a big nail in the inner sidewall and had to be replaced. Just a couple of notes from the test drive: The power door locks, remote electric sideview mirrors, and tilt are all working correctly. The A/C works great and blows cool air. The radio volume control is tricky. The car is very quiet with no rattles we could find! It runs true and straight down the road with great power and the cruise works perfectly. The only things that didn't work (noted previously) were both back windows. Even the rear window defogger works! The car does have an oil pressure gauge and at highway speed needle is slightly below the center. All gauges work well! First thing is to change the oil with HIGH MILEAGE type. Ruth used straight Pennzoil 10W30... Please take a thorough test drive to see how QUIET and SMOOTH this old car is!
