Vehicle Detail
This is my 1994 E320 Wagon. It has been great as the family truckster, but I need something that can tow a boat that I have my eye on. It runs and drives great. My co-worker was the previous owner and he used it for many years for his family. His kids grew up, so I bought it from him as my kids are still young enough for a smaller car (he finally went the SUV route and now has a BMW X3.) The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago and shifts nice and firm. The engine runs fantastic and idles super smooth. Polished aluminum CLK wheels and tires were put on and the front tires are about two years old. They are Michelins. I also have a set of Nokian snow tires on the original wheels that I will include for free. A/C is nice and cold and this past year, we had new brakes installed all around (pads and rotors and sensors), a new battery and belt with idler pulleys and a new fuel filter. It runs and drives great and is a perfect example of inscrupulous German engineering, which I cherish. The suspension is nice and supple but still handles incredibly. I've maintained it lovingly with synthetic fluids, premium fuel all the time and it has rewarded me by never giving me a problem. I do want to add that it does have a slight oil leak. Nothing huge, but wanted to note it. The paint is all original except for the hood, which has been repainted. The rest of the car is all original. There are some minor bumps and bruises as expected for an 18 year old car with 137,000 miles, but I've taken some pictures for you to see. Note the front right corner where roadkill was created. There is no rust on the car. The rear windows are tinted 35% so it's dark enough to keep things cool, but won't attract the attention of the police. The front windows are still clear. The outside temperature gauge is wacky. Sometimes it says 135 degrees, when it is only 90. I have no idea how to fix it, so I ignore it. The rest of the gauges work fine and there are no warning lights. The interior is clean, no rips in the seats or anything like that. My co-worker has a Labrador Retriever, so it does have an odor, but it doesn't bother me. Both he and I are non smokers. I also added an awesome Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth and iPhone integration that allows control of the Pandora App, so I have free streaming music from my iPhone and legal cell phone usage. Love it! Also, I put in new Kenwood speakers in the dash and the rear doors. I will help the winning bidder with logistics, but pickup of the vehicle is your responsilbility. Car is sold as is, sale is final. I have the clear and free title under my name. I used to be a photographer, so I went a little nutty with the pics. But, I think it helps everyone. I will be traveling while this auction is live, so please pardon any delay in response. On Aug-05-12 at 20:02:02 PDT, seller added the following information: powershiftkung store
