Vehicle Detail

This is my wife's car she has decided she doesn't like anymore. I want to keep it and have it repaired but she isn't going for it. First of all a mechanic told me that it is running on 1 1/2 cylinders. I can drive it to town and come out and it will not start. The driver's side door handle doesn't work and the window is off the track. It needs a thermostat and antifreeze. The windshield has a small crack that can probably be repaired. The radio has some problems. The front seats have seat covers. I think that is all but I may have missed something. Now for the good stuff. This is a 50 mpg car. At the nearest gas station the price of regular is over $3. My pickup might get 20 mpg if I drive 55. The car has had a recent paint job. It is a South Carolina car so rust isn't a big issue. The A/C works! The rear seats are in nice shape. The transmission works like it should. The tires are in decent shape. Again I have probably missed a few things. The car is being sold as is and I can't guarantee anything. I have tried to honestly describe the vehicle. It is a nice car that will pay for itself many times over when the engine is repaired. It is one of the simplest engines in the world to work on. I will need $200 by Paypal within 24 hours of the end of the auction and the balance will need to be in cash or postal money order within 7 days. I can store the car for as long as need be but after 30 days there will be a $10 a day charge. The car is being listed with no rave eserve so it will go to the highest bidder. Good luck. Note: There is water in the oil. I was told It needs a new head gasket. My plan was to find a low mile used or a rebuilt engine and replace it. It would then probably last the rest of my life. After I bought it a mechanic put a rebuilt head on it. It drove great for a while. Then it didn't drive great. I have been asked for more pictures and I will try to get them on today. The front carpet could stand to be replaced and the front seats professionally recovered. I have been asked for more pictures and I will try to get them on today. I hope this answers some of the questions I have received.
