1974 Volkswagen Beetle Please look at the potos, It has had many new parts in the past couple of years. Form New floor pans to a new windshield and rubber last week all new brakes. On Aug-05-12 at 23:03:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok time to add some more info you all, I have owned this vehicle for three years now. When I first got it, it was starting to look a little tired but ran well.. For a few weeks. We replaced the motor with a rebuilt one we bought locally. The motor runs well to this day. It is a dual port motor I think it was 1725 cc but may just be a 1600 either way it starts right up and runs well. Last year the clutch went out so we put in a new one a full kit was installed and works just fine. Prior to that we had new floors installed and repairs to the Rockers done at a fabrication shop. New braked all round shoes and cylinders replaced even put new spring kits in there. The roof was replaced by the po and the rear window had a new rubber they installed a new headliner at the same time but did not install the padding. Overall the roof works well but in my option is not the best workmanship. With that in mind we only use it when the top is down. New windshield and rubber old one was cracked. Oh the exhaust in a monza and sounds super like a true GT.... The inside is ok there are fairly new seat overs in there and the door pannels are good. There is no radio in there there was and old dial one in there when I got it but I took it out intending to add a nice cd player well it's still waiting on one. The carpet is in good shape also. So overall it's a good running solid car that looks great !!! Please feel free to ask any questions or arrange a visit to check the car out. I am very close to the i15 so shipping should be good. Final note the miles say 33000 but it's properly 133000 or who really knows so I guess I am saying unknown mIles on the car and sold as is where is this is an auction after all ..On Aug-08-12 at 17:08:04 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS car is a 73 not 74... also it has a small dent on the engine lid i did not see before. please see the pictures
