This 1950 Dodge B2D 1 ton pickup is a two owner truck that has been on only two Midwestern farms since it was purchased brand new in 1950. The story on the truck was it was mainly used in the spring and fall for hauling grain and supplies around the farm during the planting and harvest season. The miles of 50,416 are said to be original with a known family history since new. The gentleman we purchased the truck from had it repainted and freshened up in the last few years to bring it to the standard you see today. He purchased the truck in 2002 from the original family that bought it new. The paint on the truck is in good overall condition but is older. The truck has obviously been used as a work truck and still shows by the scratches inside the bed and tailgate. The rest of the truck shows well and is very solid. The corners of the cab are solid as well as the doors and fenders. Both front and rear bumpers show well with no major damage, just some dings and dents. The oak bed is solid with no rot. Inside, the seat has been reupholstered in brown vinyl and looks great. No rips or tears visible. The same goes for the door panels and the newer rubber mat on the floor. The steering wheel is solid and there is a restored Mopar heater under the dash. All of the gauges are in good working order and appear to be original for the truck. The dash and interior has been repainted the same shade of green as the exterior. The paint is good, but not perfect as you can see in the photos. Under the hood, the inline six cylinder runs great and starts up with a push of the starter button. These big inline six cylinder motors from Dodge deliver an incredible amount of torque and power. Connected to the four speed manual transmission, the truck can haul a huge load in its 9’ bed. Whether it be kids in a parade or grain on the farm, the truck is perfect for it. The underside is very solid with its dual leaf spring rear end and solid beam front axle. The truck is incredible solid and original underneath with no undercoating or repairs visible. VIN number is 81293005 and the current mileage shows 50,416 and is said to be original for the truck. The truck is being sold on a clean Indiana title showing the previous owner purchased the truck May 17, 2002 from the state of Illinois. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. Payment Terms Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment.
