I have up for sale a 1971 Opel GT roller that has had a fresh undercoating done. The body is in really great condition with minor surface rust and needs a good cleaning. This is a perfect restoration project as it comes with enough parts to build two or three more. This is a very solid body except for the front lower cross bar that needs to be welded back together. The interior is in bad shape and needs to be restored but comes with the original radio and all glass is good except for the windshield that has a crack in it. Both the rear axle assembly and the front A-frame are new. I have a brand new radiator, several transmissions, the front bumper, a good working engine, a couple of engine blocks and a ton of other parts that come with it. Just bought it and never have gotten around to restoring it. The tires are bad but for the right price (asking price) I will put a set of used rollers on it to help in the loading process. The only other bad thing I can think of is that the rims are mix matched and are not true Opel rims. I also have a trailer that will accompany it. This was a boat trailer that has been updated with very strong aluminum scaffolding as the bed. Two of the pieces come down to make the ramps. This would be a perfect trailer for this small car. Finally if interested and willing to pay a little more I have another complete 71 Opel GT that has a/c and have a brand new Opel crate engine with carburetor that goes with it. Was going to keep this as an additional project but for the right price will be willing to let it go. I do not have pics of this one for now. It will be the buyers responsibility to arrange shipping if not local and there will be an additional fee for having to package all the items for shipment. I will assist local buyers in loading parts but do encourage buyers to bring helpers as there are a lot of parts and the motor is very heavy.
