We acquired this heavily modified Firebird drag racer in 2007 without any paperwork or records. We cannot provide any history about the modifications other than what was observed by looking at the car. You will see these in the photos.
The car is badged as a 455 Oldsmobile engine. It has a Holley carburetor, Engle cams, Offenhauser heads and Edelbrock manifold. The engine is secured to the frame with chains possibly due to the nitrous oxide injection system. There is an automatic transmission with a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter. The battery has a remote shut off switch.
The interior is in nice shape but has no rear seat due to the roll bar installation. The front race buckets have harnesses affixed to the roll bar.
There is some rust near the rear window frame, a crack in the Bondo over the passenger side rear wheel and the grill is broken.
The car has not run since 2007, the fuel lines need to be replaced. The car must be trailered from our lot. We welcome inspections since we have so little information on the car. The low starting bid reflects this situation.

This does not mean they are ready for long trips. We recommend a full mechanical inspection before taking them on the road.
