Vehicle Detail

:-( In the doghouse 'cause my wife's car sold and mine did not. So no reserve this time, I WILL sell this amazing find to the highest bidder. So help a brother out and bid generously! I bought this car because I have never seen one before this one. They are unique and rare, and this is actually a very nice example. I do not really want to sell it because I have a feeling once this one is gone I will never own another, and for sure not with the sheer unmolested completeness and provenance that the previous owners have maintained for this unusual little antique. With a battery put in it it will start and run, rev, and maintain a steady idle. Unfortunately, I do not have the resources or skills to finish repairing this car, and feel like the car should be in the hands of someone that can love it the way it should be loved. I am therefore offering it here at auction, with a very reasonable reserve. I have a feeling if you review all the pictures you will be quite impressed as well. Thanks for looking!! What it needs to be driven: A battery Brake lines replaced from the master cylinder to the rear wheels Clutch pedal assembly removed and the rod freed and lubricated. The pedal and rod are seized. Clutch slave cylinder. The original is seized and the bleeder screw is twisted off in it. Some of the items I removed put back. What it needs to be road worthy: Some floor pan repair, mostly on driver's side. See photos. A muffler. It is currently straight-piped. Tires. The ones on it have tread and two will even hold air long term, but they are dry-rotted. The bad: There is a small crack in the fiberglass by the right front bumper hole, see photos. The paint is bubbling and peeling, very common with the original paint on these. The driver door panel has a wave, and the vinyl headliner and interior trim has shrunk and pulled free in a few places. There is some rust popping up on the metal dash. Needs floor pan and trunk pan repair The good: Engine runs well. The seats are in remarkably good condition, see photos. All glass is good. All 5 Soccer Ball aluminum wheels are present. All lights and signal markers appear to be in good shape. A list of the original parts this car is MISSING: The front bumper. 9 lug bolts are missing. The clutch master cylinder has been removed and a more modern design has been installed. That is all as far as I know. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Items included that will surprise you!: I have a copy of a title from 1977, showing the previous owner and the titled owner for that year, signed over to the man I bought it from. I am possibly only the fourth owner. The original Warranty and Users Manual for the car, as well as the owners manual and warranty card for the Panasonic AM radio. The original window sticker. A little ragged, but amazing to find with a car this old. And interesting. This car was imported to Portland, then Delivered to a Utah dealership. The previous owner on the '77 title listed an address in Wyoming. That title holder listed an address in Ohio, and the man I bought it from lived in Georgia. I live in Cookeville, Tennessee, and have a clear TN title for the car.
