Hello, today we are offering for sale a 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt GT #1991 of 5582 made. It is Black in color. These cars came out in Highland Green, Black, and dk blue. They only made aprox 1818 in Black. If you are not familiar with the Bullitt Mustang, these cars are set up with the following: special 13" front Brembo brakes, frame rails are tied, suspension is lowered aprox .75 inch and the struts are reworked Tokico shocks/struts, Mach 460 high powered cd stereo system, special Bullitt 17" rims, brushed aluminum fuel filler door, aluminum gearshift,special door sill brushed aluminum Bullitt badging, higher horse power 4.6L engines, special 5speed transmission and beefed up driveline, side scoops are closed off, rear spoiler delete, special trunk badging, black Leather interior retro back to late 60's style interior, special blacked out front headlamps. If you are unsure of these cars or there importance to the Ford industry just Google them and you will find a large quantity of information. or if you like I will try and answer your questions. Anyway, the exterior is in excellent shape. There are a couple of very small scratches/imperfections in paint but nothing noticeable on camera, but you have to be right up to them to ven see them, otherwise the black paint is beautiful and shines very nicely. I replaced both front headlights due to old ones were fading and starting to show their age. I replaced them with authentic Ford parts not those cheap imitations and they were not cheap. I also, added the front Mach 1 chin spoiler to give it that look. The 17" Bullitt rims are in excellent shape and have no pitting or corrosion on them at all. This car was obviously garaged during those snowy/salty months. The tires are in great shape the 2 front tires are bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdws 245/45ZR17 and rear tires are sumitomo 255/45ZR17 to give it a better stance. The interior is in excellent shape for being 11 years old. This vehicle was obviously garaged and well cared for by its previous 2 owners. The only 2 things wrong on the inside is there is a slight wear spot at top of steering wheel and the cd player for radio is inop. The stereo works fine just the cd player is inop. when you try to get the cd player to work it just shows up as error on the display. According to the Ford people this is a very common thing. I have not replaced the radio as I thought the new owner might want to change out the system for an aftermarket unit or I can replace with same type of radio for an extra fee. Remember this is the Mach 460 high powered stereo system so it sounds awesome!!!. If i were to keep this car i was going to swap out the steering wheel for a Cobra unit as it has double leather coating and replace stereo for one out of a 03 04 cobra. otherwise the interior in this Mustang is in excellent condition. All amenities, power windows,power locks, rear defrost, tilt wheel, all work per factory specs. A/C blows ICE COLD!!!! The 5speed transmission shifts smooth without any funny noises/feels. Clutch pedal is smooth and effortless and works very well. This vehicle runs, drives straigth down road very smoothly as it should. Vehicle also comes with 2 keys and 2 new Ford keyless remotes that work properly. The engine is 4.6L HO engine with aprox 265HP. the engine runs smooth and starts with no effort at all. I only have run premium 91 octane fuel in it as that is what the previous owner ran in it. The 5speed transmission shifts smooth with no grinds, zings or any other noises. The clutch feels smooth but firm like it should. This car runs, drives, shifts , handles like a 28k mile car should as it has obiously been well cared for. I would like to continue that tradition but i have decided to go in a different toy direction and buy some Polaris atvs and side by side insead of having this fine car.Soooo, my loss is your gain!!! This vehicle can driven anywhere at anytime. I would not hesitate to drive this car to either coast tomorrow or at anytime without any fears!!!!!!!!! I purchased this car aprox 4months ago from the 2nd owner (which I verified thru Carfax-I have the Carfax upon request) who had owned this vehicle for last 7 years. When he bought this car it had 15k miles on it from the original owner (car was originally purchased right here in Nebraska) and when i purchased it from him it had just turned over 28k miles. I have only put aprox 550 miles on this vehicle since i purchased it and 500 of those miles was driving it back from Wisconsin to Nebraska. It runs flawlessly with no problems at all. As a matter of fact, I got 27 mpg from Wisconsin to Nebraska when i drove the vehicle home after purchase. The overall condition of this vehicle is Excellent. There are no paint issues as the vehicle has never been wrecked or painted on and shines like new. The interior is in excellent shape also and the back seat even appears to never have been used or sat in as the leather looks like it just came off assembly line.
