In 1994 the Mustang underwent its first major redesign in fifteen years. Not only did 1994 mark the 30th anniversary of the Ford Mustang America’s favorite pony car; it also ushered in the fourth generation of the car. Code
named "SN-95", it was based on an updated version of the rear wheel
drive "SN-95/Fox-4" platform. The styling incorporated several cues
from earlier Mustangs.
The new 1994 Mustang looked different, and it drove differently as well.
Structurally, it was engineered to be stiffer. The change in engine and
chassis tuning gave the Mustang a well-mannered, refined composure.
This car has sold TWICE and each time the bidder did not follow through. Please only bid if you plan on buying the car.
This car ran when we parked it in 2007. Since then we have used the car for parts needed on other restoration projects. We DO NOT have a list of what was removed.
The car is NOT RUNNING.
We have listed this as a PARTS CAR since there are numerous issues to make this a restoration project. We are NOT parting out the car, it must be purchased as a complete vehicle.
We have been told by eBay that the AutoCheck report shows this car had a salvage title recorded in 2002. The previous owner had a clear title and we have a clean Virginia title. Please check with your local DMV to see how your state will title the car.
The 5.0 engine is a replacement , the previous owner says it was from a 1993 involved in a rear end hit.
The transmission is original but we were told it was sluggish (syncro issues?) and it leaks. Better to replace than rebuild.
The car had a front end hit, the hood is a poorly painted replacement part. The bumper and left fender are poorly aligned. Overall the car needs a repaint.
The struts were changed to accommodate the 20 inch rims.
The support frame for the convertible top is broken at a pivot point and will not operate. Welding may solve the problem, if not the frame will have to be replaced. Also the plastic rear window is cracked and needs to be replaced.
The previous owner told us that the a/c leaked and doesn’t work.
The interior is showing it’s age and at a minimum would require dying the seats. The passenger door panel is falling off. The speaker grills are gone.
There is a long crack in the windshield on the driver’s side. The drivers mirror glass is also broken.
The tires have dry rot and you should not rely on them to use a car dolly.
The car will need to be trailered from our site.
Our low reserve price is indicative of the poor condition of this car.
