Vehicle Description This beautiful red & black 4x4 is 21 years old but has only 83,123 miles. This truck is in excellent condition, but not show room new. I will describe the vehicle’s mechanical and cosmetic condition as accurately as possible and provide pictures to show the overall condition of the vehicle and any cosmetic flaws. I will disclose any mechanical condition or cosmetic flaws that I discover. This is a used vehicle and is subject to normal wear and tear both mechanically and cosmetically. Mechanical Condition The 302 V8 (5.0 liter) engine, automatic overdrive transmission, and the manual four wheel drive system perform flawlessly. The cruise control, tilt wheel, power window and locks function as they should, and the air conditioner blows cold. The tires are in excellent condition and have deep tread. The engine compartment is clean. The underside has old undercoating that has begun peel off. The horn does not work, but to the best of my knowledge there are no other mechanical issues. Exterior The paint is in very good condition for a 21 year old 4X4, but it does show normal wear. As you can see in the pictures I have shown the following exterior flaws with close up pictures: scratches inside the bed as you would expect for a 21 year old truck; paint chip on front of hood; stone chips on lower panels; small ding above bumper; paint rubbed off on tail gate; thinning paint on outside of bed; two scratch on the outside of the bed; on the passenger door, between the door handle and the window a six inch dent was repaired and the door was painted. This is the only body filler on the truck. Interior The interior of the truck is in excellent condition. The carpet is bright and free from stains or fading, headliner is in excellent condition, seat covers are in excellent condition with the only sign of wear on the driver side seat (see photo), dash cover is in perfect condition with no cracks or sun fading, and door panels are in almost perfect condition. All trim pieces are in excellent condition. The only interior flaws are a small crack on the inside of the driver side door arm rest and the door handles are faded. I buy clean cars and trucks from private owners mostly in Oklahoma and Texas. Most of the cars and trucks I buy and sell are at least 15 years old and exceptionally clean. Title & Car Fax Report This truck has a clean Oklahoma title. However, Car Fax reports that this truck was issued a Salvage Title Certificate in Oregon in 1995. The truck does not appear to be wrecked; it appears to have been a theft recovery. Car Fax recommends a $930 reduction in price on this truck. Please keep this in mind when bidding.
