TACKLE ANY JOB WITH THIS RARE AND DESIREABLE, LOW MILEAGE 1997 DODGE RAM 2500 LARAMIE SLT, EXTENDED CAB, 8.0 LTR. V-10, AUTOMATIC, 4X4! The exterior features factory two-tone black and silver paint complimented with factory pinstriping and Mopar aluminum running boards, factory alloy wheels and nearly new oversized all terrain tires. There are various dents on the bed sides and passenger fender and surface rust on the hood and roof. There is no rust on the lower doors and only just starting on the driver side rocker panel, none on the passenger side. The interior features gray cloth seats, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, climate control, and an excellent factory stereo system. The driver seat is worn through to the cushion on the outside bolster and the air conditioning gets warm after a bit, otherwise all other mechanical items function perfectly. The carpet has some staining, mostly on the driver side. The rare and very powerful 8.0 ltr. V-10 performs perfectly. The automatic transmission shudders upon first taking off then operates perfectly fine. I have driven this truck on the highway at 80 mph for over an hour and also pulled a small trailer with a garden tractor with the transmission in its current condition and other than the shudder at take off it operates fine. The brakes work well, but the front pads are due for replacement. The suspension operates perfectly. There is a Meyer plow mount, however all wiring has been removed. This truck was used primarily as a supervisor's truck for a commercial property maintenance operation. Despite the flaws, this is a very strong truck. It would be difficult to find another V-10 powered 4x4 truck with low miles!
