This is a 1965 Porsche 911. Original Irish Green with a bone interior. Seat surfaces, door panels, door pockets, and rear seat pads all could be reused. The dashboard cover, gauges, steering wheel, and all controls are in beautiful condition as well as the headliner and sun visors. The car has tinted glass, gas heater, and fog lights. The front fenders, doors, and deck lid all have the last three digits of the VIN (825). There are four original chrome wheels on the car, two are dated 7- 65 and two 8- 65 I have the correct front hood crest and rear PORSCHE emblem. The engine (with dual fuel pumps) (902988) and 5 speed transmission (901/01 2888) numbers fall into the correct sequence for the VIN of this car. The engine turns, no attempt has been made to make it run. I believe this is a factory correct number matching car. The car itself will need a full restoration. Floors, front suspension pan, rockers, as well as a rebuild of the mechanicals. This is a very worthy car to restore in that it is a number matching early example with all correct parts.
