Deciding to take advantage of the free insertion fee offer from Ebay, here is the 442 tribute on a Delta car one more time. The car started out and lived most of it`s life in Montana making it a very solid car to begin with. Finally, the car worked it`s way over to me here in Minnesota and I eventually decided to make a show car out of her. I personally took the car down to bare metal and massaged every last square inch of the body to perfection (or close to). I used very high quality materials throughout the entire process and it shows. I purchased the home made scoops from a fellow down in Georgia that no longer can be found. I did all of the nessesary prep-work then bonded the scoops on with 3M`s panel bonding adhesive and finished off with fiberglass and high quality body fillers. The hood truly looks perfect, even with a microscope! The bottom of the car is perfect as well with zero rust on the floorpans. The original untouched and undetailed 350 2bbl still has all kinds of power and is reliable as can be. The Turbo Hydromatic 350 has been recently rebuilt and performs flawlessly. The car has also had new calipers and rotors recently installed as well. The car drives fantastic and sounds mean as hell with the duel Flowmaster Delta 40s as part of the welded exhaust system. The fuel tank has been restored inside and out including a new sending unit. The interior is 100% complete and needs to be refurbished. I`ve had the interior out of the car to start the restoration of it but now due to selling, I have just loosly assembled all the parts as much as possible back into the car. Other than the uphoslstery (maybe you`d like to switch over to a bucket seat with center console themed interior) the interior fix is a simple one. The headliner is excellent and does not need any attention and the carpet is in pretty good condition. the door panel, quarter trim panels, lower dash panels, and rear package try just need to be refinished and that`s not a big deal at all. What we have here is a beautifull "one off" showcar that needs a quick interior job and an engine detailing. I`m only listing this again because of the free insertion fee and after that the car will be gone from Ebay.
